The rebrand, in one paragraph
Viima was a Finnish idea management tool with a self-serve trial and public pricing. HYPE Innovation acquired it in March 2021, rebranded it HYPE Boards, and slotted it in as the small team entry point into the HYPE Suite. In September 2026 HYPE relaunched its enterprise platform as an AI-first data platform for large organisations. The Viima name is gone; the product line is not. What you get at each tier
The structure is boards. Each board is a place for a topic or campaign, and Basic caps you at two of them for 10 users, which suits a single small team testing the idea. Pro raises that to 100 users, up to 15 boards and includes integrations. Neither public tier lists AI scoring or a rewards system, and that is the main gap to check against your requirements.
Extra users are listed at €7 a month each. Confirm how that applies to Basic before you plan around it, because the difference between adding users at €7 and stepping up to Pro at £499 is the whole cost conversation.
The step from £79 to £499
The public tiers are 10 users and 100 users. A company of 25 people that wants everyone involved is choosing between staying under 10 users, paying for extra users on top of Basic, or moving to Pro. At Pro's listed price, £499 a month is £5,988 a year before VAT, for 100 users.
On Harmoni, a 25-person company is £99 a month, and a 100-person company is £249 a month, because the price is set by organisation size and every employee is included. You can see the whole ladder on the pricing page.

Who HYPE Boards suits, and who it does not
It suits small teams that want a simple board structure, buyers who value a public price and a no-card trial, and companies that want a familiar route into a bigger suite later.
It is a harder fit if your headcount sits between the two public tiers, if you want AI scoring on the tier you buy, if you need rewards built in, or if annual prepayment does not suit your cash flow.
What to compare before you buy
- Total cost at your real headcount, including VAT and the annual prepay.
- How extra users are priced and capped on each tier.
- Whether AI triage and scoring are included or an upgrade.
- Whether rewards and recognition are in the product or your problem.
- What leaving looks like: export format, notice period, renewal date.
