A Vetter Alternative When You Want a Published Price, Not a Quote

Vetter is a long-running online employee suggestion box: submit an idea, discuss it, and give credit when it is used. If you are comparing it for a UK organisation of roughly 100 to 500 people, the commercial gap is simple. On 4 October 2026 the public pricing page did not show a figure.

What Vetter is

Vetter (getvetter.com, Vetter IMS Ltd) sells online suggestion box software. The public site describes gathering ideas from employees, implementing them, and giving credit. It calls out QR-code submission for people who are not at a desk, three anonymity settings (never anonymous, always anonymous, or the submitter chooses), and help with setup. The footer says US or EU hosting is available.

That is a suggestion box with a light workflow, not an enterprise innovation suite. Treat customer stories on the Vetter site as the vendor's own claims. This page does not repeat their savings figures.

What the pricing page shows, 4 October 2026

Source: getvetter.com/pricing, fetched 4 October 2026. The page has two packages and no prices in the text. The figures sit behind a quote.

  • FLEXIBLE. Described as ideal for manufacturing, retail, healthcare and similar. Access listed: scan a QR code and submit, shared accounts, and individual user or admin accounts.
  • PER-SEAT. Described as ideal for financial services, tech, non-profits and similar. Access listed: email invites or single sign-on, iPhone and Android apps, and individual user or admin accounts.

The call to action is "Get a quote". The FAQ says you can pay each month, or pay up front for 6, 12 or 18 months and get a discount, and that Vetter will email a quote. Payments listed are cheques, bank transfers, or card via Stripe. A user is "anyone who you have invited", including people who never take part.

The two package graphics on that page are photographs, not a price table, and the HTML does not contain a currency amount. Older third-party write-ups quote various Vetter rates. Those are not repeated here, because they are not on the current pricing page. Confirm any number with Vetter before you buy.

Included, and what is extra

The same page says every account includes:

  • Anonymity options
  • Unlimited admin accounts
  • 24/5 support
  • Customisable colours and branding
  • Feedback tools
  • Account setup assistance
  • A points system
  • Analytics and cost-saving tracking

Listed separately as optional extras: single sign-on, customisations, a recognition module, and audit logs. So recognition beyond the points system, and SSO, may be a further line on the quote. The PER-SEAT column already mentions single sign-on as an access method, which is a different line from the optional-extra list. Ask which one you are being sold.

Who Vetter is for, and who it is not for

It fits teams that want a straightforward suggestion box, especially where QR codes or shared accounts matter, and that are happy to take a quote. Manufacturing, retail and healthcare are the audiences named on the FLEXIBLE package.

It is a harder fit if you need a price in the spreadsheet before a sales conversation, if invited-user pricing would charge you for people who never log in, or if you want recognition and a manager review queue inside the published price rather than as an extra. A 100 to 500 person UK organisation comparing monthly GBP bands is in that second group.

Harmoni pricing

Harmoni is priced by organisation size, not by seat and not by invite. Everyone can take part, which is the point of a suggestion scheme. Product detail is on the features page.

Common Questions

As checked on 4 October 2026, getvetter.com/pricing does not publish a price. It shows two packages, FLEXIBLE and PER-SEAT, then asks you to get a quote. A user, on that page, is anyone you have invited. Harmoni publishes £99, £249, £399, £699 and £1,199 a month by organisation size, with every employee included and no per-seat charge.

One of the two packages is labelled PER-SEAT, and the pricing FAQ says charges are based on invited users rather than people who actually take part. The page does not show a per-user rate, a user cap, or a currency. The other package is labelled FLEXIBLE. Harmoni does not charge per seat: the band is the size of the organisation, and everyone in it is included.

The pricing page lists anonymity options, unlimited admin accounts, 24/5 support, customisable colours and branding, feedback tools, account setup assistance, a points system, and analytics with cost-saving tracking. Single sign-on, customisations, a recognition module and audit logs are listed as optional extras, not as part of every account.

The pricing FAQ says Vetter will set up a free trial if you contact them. The homepage also refers to a 30-day free trial for trying the anonymity options. Harmoni offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card and full access, then the published monthly bands.

It can be, if you want an online suggestion box with QR-code submission, shared accounts and a quoted contract. You will not see a price before that conversation. Harmoni is the alternative when you want a GBP organisation ladder, monthly billing and every employee included before you talk to anyone.
